The room was reasonably large and functional, it had a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets. The location of the hotel was perfect, in an alley with classical façades.

I appreciated this hotel, it was spotlessly clean and stylish. The breakfast selection was lovely with brewed coffee. Excellent services were available.

Quietness was amazing apart from early morning traffic movement outside.air conditioning would've been a bonus.breakfast was excellent.... Relaxed, plenty of choice of food and pleasant surroundings in the roof room.only slight downside and no fault of hotel a few 'ladies of the night' hanging around in the main street outside although the hotel is off the road in a quiet backwater square .overall an excellent 5 day trip and ideal walking distance from everything!

I appreciated the peace and quiet. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The location was convenient for getting about the city. The Kultur forum was within walking distance even for a wrinkly. The underground station at Kurfürstenstraße was easy to reach for getting to all points N. S. E. W. of the city. There is good parking close to the hotel as well as at the hotel. The staff were always ready to help whatever the problem from obtaining sewing needles to getting to hospital for a check-up with the help of an umbrella. The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would use this hotel, if able to visit Berlin again.
I had read other reviews before booking, some of which commented that prostitutes were plying their trade close by. This turned out to be the case and I talked to a nearby furniture store receptionist asking her why these women worked there. She told me it dated probably from the 1920'S. It's a pity. The council / government should insist on properly supervised establishments being set up for these women in danger themselves and something of a nuisance to male tourists not interested in paying for sex with people they do not know. For me the lack of tea / coffee-making facilities in one's own room was inconvenient but there is a cold drinks machine below.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Tasty, fresh and varied breakfast. Comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. Walking distance to subway is for 5-10 minutes. The building which houses the hotel is beautiful. Current repairs. Very quiet, ideal place to sleep after a tiring day. Ventilated in the rooms is well. The next time would stop there.
Wi-Fi is not very good catches on the lower floor.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had lovely parquet flooring. The bathroom was large and neat. The location was very central, with easy access to explore the city. The hotel was nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and even went above and beyond by returning a forgotten item after our checkout. The breakfast provided a good selection of food, including bread, cheeses, meats, salmon, cake. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel.
Nothing negative to say.

The breakfast was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of food offered. The breakfast room was spacious and had excellent lighting.
We were absolutely amazed that this 4 star hotel is situated in a "red light" district. We felt uncomfortable during the day coming and going from the hotel. I felt like the hotel was in a dark, dangerous location. I would never have chosen this hotel had I known. Also, reception was not open on Saturday afternoon. We had questions about dinner recommendations and could not ask them because no one was available. We would expect a 4 star hotel to have longer reception hours. One last thing: bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, shower caps) were not replenished. We received one very small bar of soap our first day and did not get any more. Again, this is not what we expected from a 4 star hotel.

The hotel staff was very helpful, also in advising on how to best find ones way in Berlin. The building is very stylish, the location of the hotel is also very convenient in a relatively quiet part of the city but with easy and quick access to the centre for exploring the city - the 100 and 109 bus stations are near, and the U Bahn stations are 5 minutes walk away. Good breakfast with good choices of food and drinks, extremely attentive and polite wait staff who offered us the chance for a late sleeping on Jan 1st. Room was standard but fairly large, very clean, with free and reliable internet - it all worked well, a good value for money.
Unconfortable bed, no extra pillows in the room, no fridge, no slippers.

Spacious and comfy room, nice original features, large and neat bathroom, central location, lots of options to explore the city, quiet at night.
Nothing that I didn't like.
